Terra Costa Howard
Trust. Common Sense. Honesty.
As your advocate in Springfield, State Rep. Terra Costa Howard has stood up for property tax fairness, public school excellence, fiscal responsibility, and infrastructure investment. Drawing on her career as tireless advocate for children and people in need, she has passed important new protections for victims of domestic violence and stalking. She also has been a leader in passing laws to empower people to make their own health decisions, without needless government interference.
Terra was elected in 2018 as the 48th District's first-ever Democratic representative, and she has brought new openness and accountability to the district throughout her first term. Since she was sworn into office, Terra Costa Howard has held numerous town hall meetings, constituent coffees, and public seminars. She and her staff have brought new levels of excellence to constituent service, responding to thousands of emails and phone calls.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Terra has been working for us every day – sponsoring food drives, distributing masks, volunteering at food pantries, and helping the people and businesses of our communities access the resources we need to get through this.
We need Terra Costa Howard in Springfield – now more than ever.
